San Jose, Calif., January 20, 2014 – Amphenol DC Electronics (ADCE), a division of Amphenol Industrial Global Operations Group (NYSE: APH) today announced the addition of two (2) new, state of the art 28 Ton ARBURG Allrounders. “This new equipment demonstrates our commitment to investing in our business by improving our capabilities through better technology,” said General Manager Ruben Macias Jr. “The Arburgs allow us to manufacture products with more precision and speed as well as less waste.” Each ADCE facility (San Jose, CA and Nogales, MX) had identical Allrounders installed earlier this month. “Because we have the same technology in both facilities it makes project transitions from San Jose to Nogales more efficient,” noted Director of Manufacturing Operations Patrick Clow. “Once we develop the process of record in San Jose, we are confident that the transition to Nogales will go smoothly because the product will be built on the same machine and at the exact same settings.”
